Our story
The Start
In 1999, after obtaining his Class A Engineering license, Rancho Paving was born. Starting from a small yard at his home in the north county, Ernesto, with little more than a shovel, a truck and a handful of employees the journey began, one customer at a time. With continued dedication and old fashioned perseverance, Rancho Paving has grown to become a leading force in the industry.
Today, Rancho Paving, Inc. has grown to over 50 employees with assets over 3 million dollars and the growth continues. Over the last three years alone, Rancho has had a growth rate of over 125% and this year promises to be even higher. This growth has not been without it’s own set of challenges but the team that we have built has been key in facing these challenges and steering the company in the right direction.
Ranho Paving, Inc. has evolved and now has two corporations under its umbrella. RP Cable, Inc. was created to take on the needs of the ever growing technology industry by undertaking the installation of new cable infrastructure projects as well as the upgrades to these systems.
Rancho Paving, Inc. is currently registered as a minority small business enterprise and is now officially a union contractor signatory to the Local Laborer’s Union, LiUNA! Local 89.

Rancho Paving, Inc. and RP Cable, Inc. are growing at quick rates. As their relationships with their clients grow stronger, the scale of work has also grown. Starting from small private projects for homeowners, we have moved onto larger commercial developments as well large scale public works infrastructure projects for various franchise utilities and various municipalities.
The future promises more growth for Rancho Paving, Inc. and we can’t wait to see where the future takes us.
